But to his dismay, Mattias Svahn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Mattias Svahn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco do Vale. Mestre GG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Svahn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Edward Bergström got control of the ball when Horácio Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute 孟鹰泉 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Sergipano in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Horácio Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Bergström. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mattias Svahn made a kick off. Francisco do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Svahn in the 53rd minute of play. FC Kurdistan's Edward Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孟鹰泉 in the 56th minute of play. Mestre GG:s Francisco do Vale showed great skill when he stopped Claes Andreasson:s penalty. 60 minutes into the match Claes Andreasson came totally free in front of Mestre GG's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Fabian Lundström replaced Mattias Svahn. After 66 minutes of play, Mestre GG's Betinho Mangueira made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Bergström was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Horácio Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, 孟鹰泉 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mestre GG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Mestre GG's Francisco do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Mestre GG from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Chiquinho Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mestre GG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. 91 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Mangueira came free, but Edward Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Kurdistan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mestre GG.
