Landulfos FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after MAZER SAF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Umberto do Valle took the corner. The corner led Landulfos FC's Umberto do Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Adriano Carneiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Adriano Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto do Valle. Róbson Negri came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adriano Carneiro could save by the left post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Umberto do Valle was the one to do the kick off. If Evaristo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MAZER SAFs' Silas Britto just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 93rdth minute after Beraldo Soberanos penalty, and stop a certain goal. In the 95th minute, Evaristo Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAZER SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the final whistle sounded MAZER SAF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Landulfos FC.
