Erben Medgyesi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Gregor Compaan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amine Philibert went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Amine Philibert got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Herbert Springelkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ground Control's Jérémie Millier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 minutes, Lorenzo Clavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ground Control and the FFC Merainies 03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Clavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youri Bemmel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jérémie Millier. Ground Control's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Michaelo Koole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Amine Philibert came free, but Gregor Compaan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael van Zeggeren in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jérémie Millier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as FFC Merainies 03's Herbert Springelkamp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jérémie Millier. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. In the 32nd minute Rafael van Zeggeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérémie Millier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jérémie Millier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Zhi Ling in the 33rd minute of play. Simon Moy kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jérémie Millier came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FFC Merainies 03's Erben Medgyesi. But to his dismay, Erben Medgyesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 40 minutes into the game, Felix Laget was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ground Control's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FFC Merainies 03 the free kick. Felix Laget kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Jérémie Millier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael van Zeggeren in the 42nd minute of the match. When Simon Moy fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Simon Moy a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Simon Moy. Harold Fougère kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amine Philibert to strike the kick off in the second half. Batiste Lassalle charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batiste Lassalle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Batiste Lassalle got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Rafael van Zeggeren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Amine Philibert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Compaan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Springelkamp in the 61st minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Jérémie Millier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FFC Merainies 03's Gregor Compaan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. Jérémie Millier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Zhi Ling in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Herbert Springelkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jérémie Millier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Simon Moy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Simon Moy kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jérémie Millier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael van Zeggeren's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jérémie Millier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erben Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Rafael van Zeggeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ground Control's Jérémie Millier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harold Fougère during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Harold Fougère got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jérémie Millier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Springelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
