After 11 minutes, Ladislao Daunte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PATADAS S.A and the FFC Merainies 03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladislao Daunte hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Turres came free, but Gregor Compaan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FFC Merainies 03's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso Chabier was slow to take the kick. During this time PATADAS S.A's players had a chance to rest. Celso Chabier made a great header on PATADAS S.A's corner, it was just that FFC Merainies 03's Gregor Compaan managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee ignored FFC Merainies 03's protests and gave Marco Willemsen a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Willemsen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ladislao Daunte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gregor Compaan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Daunte was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erben Medgyesi in the 45th minute of play forced PATADAS S.A's goalkeeper Raul Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael van Zeggeren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. PATADAS S.A's Leopoldo Turres got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erben Medgyesi came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raul Llorian could save by the left post. In the 68th minute Rafael van Zeggeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
