The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, De Keikoppers's goal looked a bit too open when Du Jun came free, but Rolf Saelens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Basilio Virila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dromes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Keikoppers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dromes FC's Basilio Virila got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Jacobo Senen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Keikoppers's Rolf Saelens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De Keikoppers's Ramon Caniggia got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ramon Caniggia sent off a good shot on target. Rolf Saelens came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Dromes FC's Du Jun. But to his dismay, Du Jun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ramon Caniggia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Du Jun in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolf Saelens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as De Keikoppers's Kobe Vanneste slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lavrentiy Maslyannikov. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. De Keikoppers's Rolf Saelens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Jun in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the De Keikoppers defense, Efraín Soler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolf Saelens. The De Keikoppers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolf Saelens should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, De Keikoppers's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kobe Vanneste, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kobe Vanneste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov got control of the ball when Ramon Caniggia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Jacobo Senen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Saelens. De Keikoppers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Senen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jacobo Senen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dromes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Senen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Saelens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Naets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armand Zimmer charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armand Zimmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolf Saelens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Jun in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kobe Vanneste made a kick off. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Naets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Kobe Vanneste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Dromes FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aldo Arellano hit a great ball. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Naets, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Naets came free, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kobe Vanneste, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Du Jun spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of De Keikoppers's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Vanneste in the 67th minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Lavrentiy Maslyannikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Keikoppers were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Dromes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erwin Naets took the corner. Gong Ning Yong made a great header on De Keikoppers's corner, it was just that Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov managed to reach the ball for a save. If Kobe Vanneste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Du Jun got free with Rolf Saelens in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Rolf Saelens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Du Jun. Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobe Vanneste in the 76th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Kobe Vanneste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Senen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolf Saelens. De Keikoppers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kobe Vanneste went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by De Keikoppers's Erwin Naets. But to his dismay, Erwin Naets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Efraín Soler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rolf Saelens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. De Keikoppers's Rolf Saelens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraín Soler in the 90th minute of play. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobe Vanneste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gong Ning Yong to maneuver through the defense. When Gong Ning Yong fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Keikoppers's protests and gave Gong Ning Yong a yellow card for diving instead. Chants of Dromes FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as De Keikoppers had held the ball for most of the match.
