Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Patrick Fontenot started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Cavazos in the 4th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Azim İkinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Fontenot during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Patrick Fontenot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, De Keikoppers's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Cavazos came free, but Azim İkinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Nicky Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azim İkinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Naets in the 20th minute of play. Azim İkinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Nicky Cavazos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azim İkinci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Azim İkinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Fontenot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ramon Caniggia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erwin Naets hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Nicky Cavazos came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Cavazos couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, De Keikoppers's Azim İkinci got control of the ball when Patrick Fontenot tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Naets in the 37th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Kobe Vanneste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosmos Soccer Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erwin Naets was slow to take the kick. During this time De Keikoppers's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kobe Vanneste made the kick off in the second half. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Caniggia in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicky Cavazos in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azim İkinci saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. In the 64th minute Patrick Fontenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azim İkinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicky Cavazos in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azim İkinci saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Caniggia. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Naets, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wout Leroy in the 71st minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Vanneste came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, De Keikoppers's Jarrett Rosenberg threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kobe Vanneste, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to De Keikoppers getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ramon Caniggia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Marcus Rush got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Ramon Caniggia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Vanneste in the 84th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azim İkinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos in the 95th minute of play. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Keikoppers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
