The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Oton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Oton to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind AnÐaRaHy's goalkeeper Bruno Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Cresitobalo. In the 21st match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Roberto Monserrat got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, John Kennedy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Ferman. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Kennedy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Pavel Hristiev fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AnÐaRaHy's protests and gave Pavel Hristiev a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes AnÐaRaHy got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Hristiev. Bruno Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Sarmento in the 43rd minute of the match. Ciriaco Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Bittencourt to make the kick off. Julio Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Julio Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Kennedy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bruno Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Ferman came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by AnÐaRaHy's Maurício Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Maurício Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 66 minutes into the game, John Kennedy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Ferman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Sarmento in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to AnÐaRaHy getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Elder Brasil hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Bittencourt in the 79th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Julio Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Heredia got free with Bruno Cruz in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AnÐaRaHy's Bruno Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AnÐaRaHy from getting a goal against them. Bruno Cruz made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Victor Heredia sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the game, AnÐaRaHy's John Kennedy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Ferman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Manfredo Sarmento sped through SAN LORENZO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Ferman. Victor Heredia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Heredia slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 94th minute.
