Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Feliks Nieruchliwy started the match with the kick off. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 3rd minute of the match. Feliks Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 9 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Siteavu. When Soflov FC's Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. YKE's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Edgar Oblemenco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. YKE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Oblemenco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gwidon Prusinowski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Remigio Mikelats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lunca in the 16th minute of play. Patricio Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Chiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Iacob Siteavu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. YKE and the Soflov FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Soflov FC booed when F.C. YKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Siteavu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes F.C. YKE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Oriol who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Soflov FC's corner David Oriol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Helmuth Duckadam quite easily take care of the ball. Soflov FC's Feliks Nieruchliwy got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliks Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feliks Nieruchliwy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Ion Ike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soflov FC's Leo Toli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucrețiu Culiță in the 43 minute of the game. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Chiru in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's Feliks Nieruchliwy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmuth Duckadam narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Lunca made a kick off. If Avram Chiru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Feliks Nieruchliwy came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Soflov FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliks Nieruchliwy couldn't finish the play. Daniel Lunca took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Salamon. Patricio Salamon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Helmuth Duckadam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 61st minute. Helmuth Duckadam made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Feliks Nieruchliwy sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Lucrețiu Culiță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Elias Leheren hit a great ball. Daniel Lunca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Salamon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Chiru in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Edgar Oblemenco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon. Patricio Salamon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Virgil Macrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Feliks Nieruchliwy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Chiru in the 97th minute of the match. F.C. YKE were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Soflov FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Oblemenco took the corner. The F.C. YKE players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
