The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romualdo Hetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romualdo Hetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Hizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romualdo Hetz ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Ciprian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romualdo Hetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Hizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romualdo Hetz ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilo Aliste kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Romualdo Hetz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romeo Hizo, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Romualdo Hetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Hizo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Cezar Novăceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferrán Suarez having to interfere. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Romualdo Hetz sped through Purcaresti CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romeo Hizo. In the 31st minute, Romualdo Hetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Romualdo Hetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdo Hetz in the 39th minute of play. Romualdo Hetz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Hizo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Valeriu Amurăriței got a free kick in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionuț Gane made a kick off. Romualdo Hetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Hizo having to interfere. Romualdo Hetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugen Tiberiu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferrán Suarez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Avram Ciprian kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romualdo Hetz in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Hizo saved Purcaresti CSS from getting behind. Aurelio Raffo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Hizo having to interfere. C.D. Pepino’s made a substitution. Isidoro Blanchetau replaced Teofilo Aliste. Romeo Hizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdo Hetz in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Aurelio Raffo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Pepino’s's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Raffo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Hizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Hizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romualdo Hetz in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Blanchetau to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Romualdo Hetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Pepino’s's supporters rose to their feet, but Romualdo Hetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Hizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Blanchetau came free, but Romeo Hizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.D. Pepino’s made a substitution. Teodosio Estévez replaced Romualdo Hetz. C.D. Pepino’s were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Purcaresti CSS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tito Solo took the corner. After taking down the ball on C.D. Pepino’s's corner Tito Solo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romeo Hizo quite easily take care of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Pere Jordi Polloni notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo. Romeo Hizo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.D. Pepino’s fans cheered their team off the field, for while Purcaresti CSS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
