In the 14th minute of the match, Donzel Elano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rytis Paškevičius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mete y Raspa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rius Garaizar in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Donzel Elano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rytis Paškevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truylos Rebolledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rytis Paškevičius having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Stasys Povilaitis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donzel Elano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Rytis Paškevičius 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ostadar Casas got free with Rytis Paškevičius in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Alfredas Malakauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bert Pöggeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gartxot Buisan's late challenge caught a FC COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gartxot Buisan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when Mete y Raspa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gartxot Buisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rytis Paškevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donzel Elano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atarratze Maeztu in the 47th minute of play forced FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Rytis Paškevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Donzel Elano made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Donzel Elano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rytis Paškevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ostadar Casas in the 64th minute of play. When Donzel Elano came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mete y Raspa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donzel Elano couldn't finish the play. Rytis Paškevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donzel Elano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donzel Elano in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rytis Paškevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ostadar Casas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rytis Paškevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC COSA NOSTRA's Alfredas Vaitkevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Stasys Povilaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Stasys Povilaitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bert Pöggeler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, FC COSA NOSTRA's Alfredas Malakauskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bert Pöggeler. Bert Pöggeler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Mete y Raspa FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC COSA NOSTRA for a fine match.
