Cefero Gala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Rosenlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Benedicto Jofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Ubarna in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Hakkı Kenan Ushan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cefero Gala in the 27th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Tor Rosenlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Real Llull de Reus defense, Luis Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Jofre. The Real Llull de Reus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Jofre should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Hakkı Kenan Ushan in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Llull de Reus's Clemencin Castelao. When Orlo Puyol fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Llull de Reus's protests and gave Orlo Puyol a yellow card for diving instead. Tor Rosenlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cefero Gala's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Santana made a kick off. A hard shot 56 in the game by Cefero Gala from a close distance when the talented Tor Rosenlund managed to make a qualified save. Santa Maradona's players were relieved. In the 58th minute, Cefero Gala made a precise shot to the right of Tor Rosenlund. Santa Maradona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cefero Gala in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Rosenlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Raul Antón came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Real Llull de Reus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Antón couldn't finish the play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Cefero Gala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Tor Rosenlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedicto Jofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tor Rosenlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Antón in the 76th minute. Real Llull de Reus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Melquiades Borrás in the 78th minute. Tor Rosenlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cefero Gala in the 79th minute of play. Cecilio Ubarna hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Hakkı Kenan Ushan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute Cefero Gala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Rosenlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Antón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Although Santa Maradona had been in control for most of the match, Real Llull de Reus still came away with the win.
