The supporters of JS 22 booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Micael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Tancredo in the 4th minute of the match. Ubaldo Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cirilo Micael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Alonzo Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dove Carrat in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes JS 22's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Lluc who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Lluc made a great header on Pilar FC's corner, it was just that JS 22's Jairo Elixio managed to reach the ball for a save. 19 minutes into the game, Pilar FC's Pedro Lluc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Elixio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, JS 22's goal looked a bit too open when Dove Carrat came free, but Jairo Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Lluc in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cirilo Micael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darío Cvitanich in the 44th minute. The JS 22 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pilar FC were winning 0-1.

Jairo Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to JS 22 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alonzo Fernandes hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Pilar FC's Jairo Elixio threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Artizar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, JS 22's Ubaldo Ostots got a free kick in the 66th minute. The JS 22 fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when JS 22's Darío Cvitanich looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 76 minutes into the match, JS 22's goalkeeper Jairo Elixio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dove Carrat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Lluc got free with Jairo Elixio in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, JS 22's Jairo Elixio got control of the ball when Dove Carrat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Jairo Elixio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pilar FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
