Zeledon Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Quintyn during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teofilo Quintyn hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Brask might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Markel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Brask ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute of the match, Karl-Michael Brask got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeledon Markel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 12th minute of the match, Karl-Michael Brask tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeledon Markel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karl-Michael Brask blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Markel having to make a save. Zeledon Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 18th minute of play. When Juan Ignacio Cianci came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Ignacio Cianci couldn't finish the play. After having played for 22 minutes, Karl-Michael Brask managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Brask was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Michael Brask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 34th minute of the match. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Blagoy Doro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ionuț Contra got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Lázaro Eyague took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Peter. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Teofilo Quintyn made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Peter was left in no man's land by his defense there!

C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Guillermo Barros Schelotto was substituted for Juan Ignacio Cianci. In the 54th minute, Blagoy Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Barros Schelotto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Chan struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Flavio Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA. Zeledon Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ionuț Contra in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Inocencio Urritz. Zeledon Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Zeledon Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 79th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Karl-Michael Brask got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
