When Jairo de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Eustaquio Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André-Pierre Gignac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, Buenaventura FC's Walter Bock made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Sengrat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toro Martínez came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by LiBeRiA F.C.'s Victorio Oliverio. But to his dismay, Victorio Oliverio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hugo Leobardo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Salva Moresco made a precise shot to the right of Toro Martínez. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jairo de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Sengrat having to interfere. Eustaquio Sengrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 27th minute of the match. Eustaquio Sengrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Bock in the 34th minute. Toro Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Toro in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match, André-Pierre Gignac tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustaquio Sengrat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute Salva Moresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toro Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo de Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo de Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jairo de Azevedo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Victorio Oliverio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toro Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 44th minute André-Pierre Gignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Ensar Irgatbaşı. Toro Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salva Moresco in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half LiBeRiA F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Oliverio to make the kick off. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leonidas Escalona hit a great ball. When Anselmo Toro fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LiBeRiA F.C.'s protests and gave Anselmo Toro a yellow card for diving instead. Eustaquio Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Jairo de Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Sengrat. LiBeRiA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo de Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 70th match minute, LiBeRiA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Hartz to maneuver through the defense. Toro Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Leobardo in the 73rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo de Azevedo in the 75th minute of play. Victorio Oliverio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Toro Martínez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Bock in the 80th minute of play forced LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eustaquio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 83rd minute of play. Eustaquio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Alberto Aizprua got a free kick in the 91st minute. Salva Moresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toro Martínez having to interfere. Buenaventura FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
