Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Novella in the 24th minute of play. When Karl-Michael Brask came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Brask couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ennio Piccioli hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Xerxes Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xerxes Doro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Christer Elg replaced Frank Novella. Adrian Isăilă hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
