Cheeky Nuts United's Finn Espe got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute Armas Heinola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neville Peach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Laing got free with Isak Tøllefsen in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cheeky Nuts United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Abraham Laing scored to the left of an out of position Isak Tøllefsen, making the score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Finn Espe put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Neville Peach. Armas Heinola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neville Peach having to make a save. In the 19th match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Rakvåg to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Lundberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Marcus Roach shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isak Tøllefsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Laing got free with Isak Tøllefsen in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Abraham Laing recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isak Tøllefsen. Abraham Laing showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Carleton Howie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. In the 42nd minute, Armas Heinola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armas Heinola to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Armas Heinola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neville Peach was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Finn Espe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Neville Peach made a huge save. In the 58thth minute of the game Abraham Laing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Isak Tøllefsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Amputees FC's Abraham Laing in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheeky Nuts United's goalie prevented a goal. When Armas Heinola came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cheeky Nuts United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armas Heinola couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Laing in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isak Tøllefsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amputees FC's Neville Peach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Amputees FC from getting a goal against them. After 72 minutes Amputees FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stathis Konstantakis who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cheeky Nuts United's corner Stathis Konstantakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Neville Peach quite easily take care of the ball. Ed Royans hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Neville Peach made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Finn Espe sent off a good shot on target. Carleton Howie's late challenge caught a Cheeky Nuts United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carleton Howie helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Carleton Howie got a free kick in the 78th minute. Henrik Rakvåg charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Rakvåg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henrik Rakvåg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Laing came free, but Isak Tøllefsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Abraham Laing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Isak Tøllefsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Finn Espe struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Neville Peach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheeky Nuts United. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Amputees FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cheeky Nuts United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
