Teofilo Quintyn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Neville Peach came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofilo Quintyn slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Teofilo Quintyn had several of the Amputees FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Neville Peach as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zeledon Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Laing, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Zeledon Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Laing in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Otto Colin hit a great ball. Dagan Eicke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Markel having to interfere. Teofilo Quintyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Neville Peach made a huge save. In the 28th minute C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA were awarded a corner. Lázaro Eyague went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute Dagan Eicke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Bohn. In the 34thth minute of the game Teofilo Quintyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Neville Peach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Dagan Eicke notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Zeledon Markel. Zeledon Markel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeledon Markel came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Amputees FC's Dagan Eicke. But to his dismay, Dagan Eicke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Guillermo Barros Schelotto was substituted for Juan Ignacio Cianci. Zeledon Markel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Laing's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Zeledon Markel made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Abraham Laing sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Zeledon Markel got control of the ball when Abraham Laing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Markel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Abraham Laing sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 68 in the game by Dagan Eicke from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Markel managed to make a qualified save. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's players were relieved. After 71 minutes, Otto Colin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA and the Amputees FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Otto Colin got a free kick in the 71st minute. Abraham Laing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Zeledon Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Mario Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Amputees FC's Carleton Howie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Markel. That made the score 2-3 after 87 minutes of play. If Dagan Eicke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Otto Colin hit a great ball. Carleton Howie struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Zeledon Markel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. When the final whistle sounded Amputees FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA.
