The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Lundberg in the 6th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Toro Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Buenaventura FC's Jairo de Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isak Tøllefsen. Isak Tøllefsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Finn Espe in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toro Martínez saved Buenaventura FC from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Fabian Lundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Toro Martínez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the game, Armas Heinola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. With an all-out effort, Buenaventura FC's Isak Tøllefsen threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo de Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Buenaventura FC defense, Alf Austad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toro Martínez. The Buenaventura FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toro Martínez should have stopped the shot. Toro Martínez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armas Heinola went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Toro Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alf Austad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Finn Espe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toro Martínez. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finn Espe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Armas Heinola scored 1-7 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toro Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armas Heinola was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Finn Espe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toro Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheeky Nuts United's Armas Heinola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toro Martínez. That made the score 1-9 after 58 minutes of play. If Walter Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toro Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armas Heinola, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Austad came free, but Toro Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toro Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonidas Moscoso hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Toro Martínez made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Finn Espe sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 78 minutes, Walter Bock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Bock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheeky Nuts United's Armas Heinola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toro Martínez. That made the score 1-11 after 82 minutes of play. In the 94th minute, Fabian Lundberg made a precise shot to the right of Toro Martínez. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-12. When the final whistle sounded Cheeky Nuts United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Buenaventura FC.
