It was a well-played corner which André-Pierre Gignac managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 39th minute, Fabian Worsley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toro Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 42 minutes into the game, Carleton Howie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Toro Martínez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Bock to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Bock in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neville Peach saved Amputees FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute of the game, Carleton Howie landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Amputees FC made a substitution. Eden Heberle replaced Carleton Howie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Heberle in the 61st minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Toro Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonidas Escalona to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, André-Pierre Gignac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Arne Gronow. Toro Martínez was a little too slow when Eden Heberle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. Fabian Worsley struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Toro Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alberto Aizprua hit a great ball. Amputees FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
