A collision led to Cheeky Nuts United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Henrik Rakvåg hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Ren Yi Fei seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ren Yi Fei the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ren Yi Fei had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Ren Yi Fei got a free kick in the 9th minute. A hard shot by Stathis Konstantakis from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Zeledon Markel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armas Heinola in the 12th minute of play forced C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper Zeledon Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Lundberg came free, but Zeledon Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armas Heinola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stathis Konstantakis who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Stathis Konstantakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Markel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zeledon Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armas Heinola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cheeky Nuts United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Finn Espe hit a great ball. If Juan Ignacio Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bjarne Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Teofilo Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Ueland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Juan Ignacio Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Cheeky Nuts United's Finn Espe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 46 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Barros Schelotto. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Mario Chan was substituted for Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Finn Espe took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Markel. Zeledon Markel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cheeky Nuts United's zone, Teofilo Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morten Ueland came out of the goal and Teofilo Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Pozorski hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Zeledon Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finn Espe in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA defense, Armas Heinola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Markel. The C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Markel should have stopped the shot. Armas Heinola scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Markel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Otto Colin got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Henrik Rakvåg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armas Heinola, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Hans Valen fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheeky Nuts United's protests and gave Hans Valen a yellow card for diving instead. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA made a substitution. Inocencio Urritz replaced Teofilo Quintyn. After a rather tough play, Cheeky Nuts United's Hans Valen got a free kick in the 86th minute. Zeledon Markel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armas Heinola went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 94th match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Grønnestad to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Urritzs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Morten Ueland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
