The supporters of Clube Esportivo Saudade booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Hurko didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Reina in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Eneko saved Terremoto FC from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Raphael Mayol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Guzman. 15 minutes into the match, Armando Reina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Eneko. Terremoto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Reina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bruno Hechter charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Hechter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Bruno Hechter got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Romeo Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Armando Reina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Esportivo Saudade and the Terremoto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Adrian Bibiano replaced Hugo Mirande. In the 22nd match minute, Clube Esportivo Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Reina to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Mayol made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bruno Hechter sent off a good shot on target. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Raphael Mayol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Guzman in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Romeo Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Bernardino Eneko. Terremoto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bruno Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Mayol having to interfere. Bernardino Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prometeo Garay, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Reina to make the kick off. Bernardino Eneko made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Armando Reina sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Esportivo Saudade's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uriel Sesuldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Terremoto FC's players had a chance to rest. Terremoto FC's Bernardino Eneko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Samuel Pes hit a great ball. Terremoto FC's Luciano Frisco was substituted for Reynaldo Mikolas. After 62 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Pes. Gabriel Cardeñosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gabriel Cardeñosa came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Clube Esportivo Saudade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Cardeñosa couldn't finish the play. Armando Reina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Bernardino Eneko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 72 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bibiano came free, but Raphael Mayol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pere Mudarra came free, but Bernardino Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Terremoto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
