In the 30th minute of the match Monumento Sports got a corner. ramirez fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fiko Violento ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Monumento Sports's corner Fiko Violento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geronimo Innocenzio quite easily take care of the ball. Gernando Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Geronimo Innocenzio made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Quintal in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Innocenzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Flávio da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Botello's late challenge caught a Monumento Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Botello helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when ramirez fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Botello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Tasso to maneuver through the defense. ramirez fc's Geronimo Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Quintal in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Quintal in the 72nd minute of play forced ramirez fc's goalkeeper Geronimo Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Cerilo in the 73rd minute of play. When Sandro Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ramirez fc's protests and gave Sandro Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Sandro Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ramirez fc booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosta Kent didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes, Kosta Kent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the ramirez fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Kosta Kent got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 91st match minute, ramirez fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Botello to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Monumento Sports were victorious despite being under pressure from ramirez fc for much of the match.
