LA LUZ F.C.'s Javier Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Mikolas in the 28th minute of play. Ivan Vistruario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Eneko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Ivan Vistruario struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bernardino Eneko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA LUZ F.C.. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Vistruario got free with Bernardino Eneko in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Torres. 43 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Mikolas came free, but Javier Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Cubilla to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Ivan Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Ivan Vistruario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bernardino Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Vistruario in the 75th minute of the match. Luís Cubilla scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Eneko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Hurko in the 83rd minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Javier Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Luís Cubilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2.
