The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz got free with Wellington Fantini in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Nilton Hoffmann notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Miguel Ángel Ortiz. Miguel Ángel Ortiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. Wellington Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Paraibano in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AllRaf EC's Cléber Queiroz got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Márcio Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Ángel Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 71 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo Baiano. After a rather tough play, AllRaf EC's Murillo Baiano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Leopoldo Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AllRaf EC's Murillo Baiano got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. In the 84th minute, Leopoldo Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Murillo Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
