GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 14th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Pillado in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonas Svensson made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Agustin Pillado sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Arkadiusz Zaremba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oso Amezaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Zaremba came free, but Oso Amezaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Zaremba in the 38th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oso Amezaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Wiatr went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wiatr in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Zaremba to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Virgilio Canton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. GUAYACO and the Fotbollens Lakejer BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariusz Rykaczewski during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
