In the 21st minute of the match, Mendoza Joseph got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Frasquito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mendoza Joseph's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudio Frasquito firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Rykaczewski got free with Claudio Frasquito in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oso Amezaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Eron. In the 86th match minute, ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Frasco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Eron in the 89th minute of the match. Paulo Eron did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Oso Amezaga 92 minutes into the match. If Sérgio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The C.A. GUAYACO manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ to win.
