A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, one of Simbo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Octavio Lauaxeta, was totally fooled by Vejbystrand's Tommy Norberg, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 44th minute Scottie Moal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Honorato Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Stensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Scottie Moal was the one to do the kick off. Nair Galarza did an outstanding performance 72 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-6 to the right of an irritated Leonardo Stensson in the goal. Leonardo Stensson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 2-7. Leonardo Stensson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Victoriano Banegas sent off a good shot on target. When Oskar Deckbergh fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 98th match minute, Vejbystrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Tönnberg to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Leonardo Stensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Banegas. Simbo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
