Patricio Lloret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Momparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubio Guardia, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ismael Momparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrol Tama in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Sebastian De la Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GOMEZ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Olimpia the free kick. In the 12th match minute, GOMEZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian De la Rosa to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Perico Porregimon. 27 minutes into the match, Sandro Schiffer sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Paulo Cabrera threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Sandro Schiffer this time. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cordarrol Tama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordarrol Tama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Momparte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Santutxo Casquete. 49 minutes into the game, Foro Constante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Olimpia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOMEZ F.C. the free kick. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foro Constante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordarrol Tama made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Perico Porregimon. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Foro Constante got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sebastian De la Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Cabrera having to interfere. Paulo Cabrera came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by GOMEZ F.C.'s Sebastian De la Rosa. But to his dismay, Sebastian De la Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Patricio Lloret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Cabrera was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. GOMEZ F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sandro Schiffer in the 74th minute. GOMEZ F.C.'s Ismael Momparte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save GOMEZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. GOMEZ F.C.'s Sebastian De la Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian De la Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paulo Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Lloret in the 88th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, GOMEZ F.C.'s Patricio Lloret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Cabrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Kiempe during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Patricio Lloret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ismael Momparte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliazar Salantes in the 99th minute.
