Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) GOMEZ F.C.'s João Keane started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, GOMEZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Harald Ennegren came free, but Ismael Momparte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Eugenio Almaguer with Patricio Lloret as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. João Keane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Keane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes in the game Eugenio Almaguer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patricio Lloret. John Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Keane in the 21st minute of play. Ismael Momparte came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vejbystrand's Harald Ennegren. But to his dismay, Harald Ennegren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. John Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Lloret went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. GOMEZ F.C.'s Ismael Momparte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Hammarbäck in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Vejbystrand booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Somellera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes, Timmy Asplund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vejbystrand and the GOMEZ F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Ennegren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vejbystrand's Timmy Asplund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugenio Almaguer, made in the 51st minute of the game. Vejbystrand were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after GOMEZ F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Norberg took the corner. Tommy Norberg made a great header on Vejbystrand's corner, it was just that GOMEZ F.C.'s Ismael Momparte managed to reach the ball for a save. After 61 minutes, João Keane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GOMEZ F.C. and the Vejbystrand players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timmy Asplund was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Timmy Asplund got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vejbystrand made a substitution. Henric Nordal replaced Harald Ennegren. After 70 minutes Vejbystrand's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandro Schiffer who took care of the corner kick. Birger Hammarbäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Momparte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birger Hammarbäck ran back to his position shaking his head. John Glad made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Almaguer kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sandro Schiffer kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Eugenio Almaguer in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vejbystrand's Henric Nordal. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Nordal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti came free, but John Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. John Glad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s João Keane got a free kick in the 96th minute.
