Filomeno Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clube do Remo MZ's Anderson Donatello got a free kick in the 17th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Åke Lindberg to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Manfredo Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bora Bora's Filomeno Chus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bora Bora's Filomeno Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Sena in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Sven-Arne Möllgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bora Bora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube do Remo MZ the free kick. Sven-Arne Möllgren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
