Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) FC Buzău's Andrei Rogozea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Kante hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Mark acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ionuț Năsturel. When Francisco Merexildo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvarado de Mar del Plata's protests and gave Francisco Merexildo a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alvarado de Mar del Plata! In the 10th minute, Ionuț Năsturel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Buzău fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. FC Buzău's Mihăiţă Iriza got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Rogozea in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Mark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when Alvarado de Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Verón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Rogozea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Mark when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alex Buzincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Marcones in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Panait Aluneanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 27 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Iriza. In the 34th minute, Damian Rito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Buzincu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Andrei Rogozea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goal looked a bit too open when George Ţiţeica came free, but Rodolfo Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Castel Prabes put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Mark. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mariano Verón hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Damian Rito made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Andrei Rogozea made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Rodolfo Mark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrei Rogozea in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Mark saved Alvarado de Mar del Plata from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Damian Rito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Alex Buzincu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panait Aluneanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Mark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panait Aluneanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Damian Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Buzău fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FC Buzău's Andrei Rogozea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damian Rito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Alex Buzincu made a huge save. Andrei Rogozea struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rodolfo Mark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buzău. 86 minutes into the match, Damian Rito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Buzincu, 5-3. Alex Buzincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Rito in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Mihăiţă Iriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Sancho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Buzincu. FC Buzău's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Buzău were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alvarado de Mar del Plata for a fine match.
