An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Candamil in the 35th minute of play forced La Mazorca's goalkeeper Generoso Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Mero Candela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Generoso Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Tormes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. booed when La Mazorca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Generoso Nabar threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mero Candela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 62 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Rico came free, but Generoso Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Mikelar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 76th minute, Mero Candela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Generoso Nabar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Alacuart in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes La Mazorca got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Cidro. If Claus Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Mero Candela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Haroldo Txurio's late challenge caught a La Mazorca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Txurio helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Txurio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Arnulfo Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
