Diego Ihazintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artizar Melic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Popolizio in the 7th minute of play forced MoVenTorZ FC's goalkeeper Fausto Spinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Gilesindo Colombres. Fausto Spinosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Popolizio's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herminio Maceira in the 15th minute. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Artizar Melic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes, Pierres Baz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Popolizio FBC and the MoVenTorZ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 minutes of play Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Rayman Munibe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 33 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Rayman Munibe. When Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Aldo Popolizio in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 47 minutes, Daniele Pizzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MoVenTorZ FC and the Deportivo Popolizio FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Gabon Castrejana came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabon Castrejana couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Benvide Cercalde was substituted for Aldo Popolizio. With a little luck, MoVenTorZ FC's Fausto Spinosa got control of the ball when Benvide Cercalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artizar Melic came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by MoVenTorZ FC's Ciro Muzi. But to his dismay, Ciro Muzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Benvide Cercalde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 96th minute, Ciro Muzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
