In the 4th minute, one of Dr Lecter SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dr Lecter SC. Dr Lecter SC:s Paulão Esteves showed great skill when he stopped Arsenio Erico:s penalty. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Paulão Esteves got control of the ball when Ryszard Rzentkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Nueva Adalucia's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca de Lara came free, but Altzibar Zapater reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho de Sousa. 14 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Ramis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dr Lecter SC's Paulão Esteves. Paulão Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nueva Adalucia's Altzibar Zapater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca de Lara in the 18th minute of play. Zeca de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Erico, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Altzibar Zapater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Ramis in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Nueva Adalucia's Leopoldo Ramis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zeca de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Altzibar Zapater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Dr Lecter SC's Zeca de Lara made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Altzibar Zapater was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Nueva Adalucia's Firmo Aranzubia got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Arsenio Erico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho de Sousa got free with Altzibar Zapater in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Nueva Adalucia were the better team. Nueva Adalucia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
