The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikolaj Falkowski to make the kick off. In the 90th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Passos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, DOJLIDY's Wladyslaw Makomaski got control of the ball when Zeca de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Gumaro in the 95th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
