Washington Quadros in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorrin Artiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 8 played minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Pirez. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Jorrin Artiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save C.S.D Punta Ballena from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Pabla Goya in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Umberto Donatello. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Vito Alsina managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.D Punta Ballena's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Alsina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Paulo de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vito Alsina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Jorrin Artiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Barbosa. Dr Lecter SC's Pedro Paulo de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Alsina in the 40th minute of play. Vito Alsina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Vito Alsina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Delfim Barbosa hit a great ball. When Vito Alsina came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the C.S.D Punta Ballena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Alsina couldn't finish the play. Vito Alsina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vito Alsina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo de Sena having to interfere. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Celso Martel was substituted for Vito Alsina. 65 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's Washington Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorrin Artiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Delfim Barbosa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Federico Valverde was substituted for Haritz Cullar. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Delfim Barbosa hit a great ball. Pedro Paulo de Sena made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mikel Envito sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Valverde came free, but Pedro Paulo de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Federico Valverde notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dr Lecter SC's Pedro Paulo de Sena. Pedro Paulo de Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dr Lecter SC's Pedro Paulo de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dr Lecter SC from getting a goal against them. If Serafino Elorriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Washington Quadros hit a great ball. The supporters of C.S.D Punta Ballena booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Martel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Pedro Paulo de Sena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro Paulo de Sena made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Celso Martel sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Paulo de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Martel's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. C.S.D Punta Ballena's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
