In the 16th minute of the match Nueva Adalucia got a corner. Rejunte de perros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arsenio Erico ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38th minute Behe Etxeberria suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nicolaas Otamendi's late challenge caught a Nueva Adalucia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altzibar Zapater was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Hernando in the 46th minute of play forced Nueva Adalucia's goalkeeper Altzibar Zapater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Di Maria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Natanael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Espiridion Barrientos in the 55th minute. After 81 played minutes Nueva Adalucia got a freekick which was hit by Cugat Fonticoba. 82 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's David Odilon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Altzibar Zapater narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael got control of the ball when Leopoldo Ramis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Altzibar Zapater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Odilon in the 93rd minute of play. Ryszard Rzentkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Natanael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Nueva Adalucia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rejunte de perros throughout the match.
