After having played for 9 minutes, Yago Polanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taltum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yago Polanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. Piero Kahn came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacronas Futbol Club's Arturo Chiappe. But to his dismay, Arturo Chiappe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th minute of the game Bernabe Ferreyra made a throw-in which Ceferino Cresconio played forward. In the 21st match minute, Sacronas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Higuaín to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Ferreyra got free with Piero Kahn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sacronas Futbol Club's zone, Gabi Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Iribarren came out of the goal and Gabi Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes of play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Ceferino Cresconio made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piero Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Taltum FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Alberto Cuello scored to the left of an out of position Piero Kahn, making the score, 5-0. Jorge Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Cotobal in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Cresconio made a kick off. Bernabe Ferreyra took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piero Kahn. Piero Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Taltum FC were furious when Rodriguez Muñio was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rodriguez Muñio hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Esteban Txerran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Piero Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piero Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Piero Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Lugo in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Alvaro Cotobal could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Jorge Iribarren however easily saved by the left post. Gabi Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jorge Iribarren made a huge save. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Cresconio in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Canton during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gonzalo Canton hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Piero Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Chiappe in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Ceferino Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piero Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Iribarren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sacronas Futbol Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
