Bernardo Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Healy, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. João Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Wincenty Kinic made a huge save. Dariusz Marosz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, FC Viper's Adam Healy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gilmar Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pirani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincenty Kinic having to make a save. FC Viper's Wincenty Kinic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 22nd minute of play. Wincenty Kinic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pirani in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes FC Viper got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Hayes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pirani in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wincenty Kinic saved FC Viper from getting behind. Adam Healy scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Gilmar Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wasyl Rutkowski's late challenge caught a Vascogoianiense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Rutkowski helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Adam Healy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Corrêa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when FC Viper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Marosz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute João Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincenty Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pirani in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pirani in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wincenty Kinic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karol Marciewicz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Lucjan Peczkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. João Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 81st minute of play forced FC Viper's goalkeeper Wincenty Kinic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. João Pirani hit a great ball. Gilmar Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Wincenty Kinic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vascogoianiense FC. Wasyl Rutkowski hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Wincenty Kinic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pirani in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Vascogoianiense FC got a corner. FC Viper's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dorian Quirino ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gilmar Monteiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Wincenty Kinic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pirani's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the match was over FC Viper could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vascogoianiense FC throughout the match.
