In the 12th minute, one of Real Ayuntamiento CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Ayuntamiento CF. After 16 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Rallo. Piero Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Frichoso in the 18th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Real Ayuntamiento CF's corner Tomás Quentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piero Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Frichoso came free, but Piero Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Faustino Frichoso lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Piero Kahn. Thanks to some nice moves Saverio Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Piero Kahn however easily saved by the left post. In the 38th minute, Saverio Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Piero Kahn. Taltum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Xines Medel came free, but Fidel Monte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piero Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Sidro in the 43rd minute of play. When Yago Polanco fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taltum FC's protests and gave Yago Polanco a yellow card for diving instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Rallo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Rodas Valdivieso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taltum FC and the Real Ayuntamiento CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodas Valdivieso to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Eloy Sidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piero Kahn was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Faustino Frichoso scored 6-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piero Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Albano Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Eloy Sidro made a precise shot to the right of Piero Kahn. Taltum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. After 81 minutes of play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Eloy Sidro made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piero Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piero Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Cordeiro in the 85th minute of play. Eloy Sidro took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piero Kahn. Piero Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. Alvaro Cotobal hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Ayuntamiento CF fully deserved thier win.
