Cipriano Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Wennerlund having to interfere. Raul Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Sandberg in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Ostots to maneuver through the defense. Robert Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Urtun was the one to do the kick off. Raul Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Ali Cengiz Kara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Wennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Chuan in the 64th minute. Robert Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69thth minute of the game Ted Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZURDUY F.C.'s Raul Santxol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Billy Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Santxol. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Santxol should have stopped the shot. Raul Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Wennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Urtun in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Andreasson in the 95th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Raul Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AZURDUY F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
