Victorio Lasaca charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Lasaca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Victorio Lasaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Victorio Lasaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustave Lechat was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match Victorio Lasaca climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Gustave Lechat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Lasaca in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustave Lechat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victorio Lasaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Lasaca got free with Gustave Lechat in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Lasaca in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustave Lechat saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eren Stone got free with Gustave Lechat in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustave Lechat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Lasaca in the 37th minute. Joel Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Vetter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustave Lechat made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Victorio Lasaca sent off a good shot on target. Victorio Lasaca got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 46th match minute, West Town SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Lasaca to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eren Stone to strike the kick off in the second half. When Levi Ackerman came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the West Town SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levi Ackerman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levi Ackerman in the 55th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eren Stone in the 57th minute of play. Bart Vetter kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eren Stone in the 60th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Levi Ackerman came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the West Town SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levi Ackerman couldn't finish the play. Roberto Blue struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Gustave Lechat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Town SC. Eren Stone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eren Stone in the 75th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of West Town SC booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Teinturier didn't get a good kick on the ball. West Town SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eren Stone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Paulo Teinturier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaime Cedillo in the 90th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustave Lechat came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by West Town SC's Xaime Cedillo. But to his dismay, Xaime Cedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eren Stone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gustave Lechat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the R.C. Marseille players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for West Town SC.
