After some careless play in the Celestiales defense, Bart Vetter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Javiero. The Celestiales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Javiero should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Paulo Teinturier put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Javiero. R.C. Marseille's Bart Vetter got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Teinturier came free, but Isidoro Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Teinturier scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Teinturier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Javiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Paulo Teinturier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isidoro Javiero. Paulo Teinturier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. In the 35th minute Paulo Teinturier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Teinturier, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Javiero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Paulo Teinturier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Javiero was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Florent Travers made a great header on R.C. Marseille's corner, it was just that Celestiales's Isidoro Javiero managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Teinturier got free with Isidoro Javiero in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Teinturier scored 6-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Teinturier to make the kick off. Paulo Teinturier took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Javiero. Isidoro Javiero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 59 minutes into the match, Bart Vetter notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Celestiales's Isidoro Javiero. Isidoro Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Florent Travers came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the R.C. Marseille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florent Travers couldn't finish the play. Narciso Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Isidoro Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florent Travers in the 70th minute of play. Isidoro Javiero came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier. But to his dismay, Paulo Teinturier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. 77 minutes into the match, Paulo Teinturier notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Celestiales's Isidoro Javiero. Isidoro Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Teinturier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Simão Lima managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celestiales's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Paulo Teinturier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Isidoro Javiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bart Vetter struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Isidoro Javiero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C. Marseille. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. R.C. Marseille fully deserved thier win.
