Thanks to some nice moves Bart Vetter could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Trenton Call however easily saved by the left post. Bart Vetters short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Trenton Call to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Teinturier in the 8th minute of play. Gustave Lechat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Holcomb, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ari Holcomb kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Paulo Teinturier hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Otto in the 27th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendan Otto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ari Holcomb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustave Lechat. R.C. Marseille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ari Holcomb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Noël Casimir kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Otto in the 36th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Teinturier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Teinturier kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After 51 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Teinturier. Bart Vetter hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Gustave Lechat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ari Holcomb went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alexandre Dubar charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Dubar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alexandre Dubar hit a great ball. Gustave Lechat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ari Holcomb in the 58th minute. Paulo Teinturier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Trenton Call tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Hugo Harrison got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 83rd minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Lechat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trenton Call showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Teinturier in the 85th minute of the match. Hugo Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Brendan Otto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Lechat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Black Knights FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
