In the 38th minute of the match, Fulgencio Lalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sverker Pedersson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Jan Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salim Adas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Alkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Ulrik Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Lalla in the 57th minute of play forced SE7EN's goalkeeper Sverker Pedersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulrik Holmbergs short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Salim Adas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th match minute, SE7EN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sverker Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when SE7EN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Melberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Boedo Vengo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
