Diguinho Gaúcho scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Sikström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The SORRISO E. C. fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when SORRISO E. C.'s Diguinho Gaúcho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to SORRISO E. The audience was convinced that Cléber da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Sikström was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diguinho Gaúcho in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Sikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber da Costa got free with Patrik Sikström in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Gaúcho in the 43rd minute of play forced Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Diguinho Gaúcho made the kick off in the second half. Patrik Sikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber da Costa went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Natanael de Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SORRISO E. C.'s protests and gave Natanael de Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Natanael de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cléber da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Patrik Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diguinho Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SORRISO E. C. had played much better football throughout.
