After 42 played minutes, Shaolin soccer's Borys Gacek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shaolin soccer reached it. Szymon Faron scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Diaz Montero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miromir Lichorobiec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Wiktor Domeradzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 53 minutes, Lolo Alveal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U. de Tarapacá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lolo Alveal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Diaz Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Lichorobiec in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Lichorobiec in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Diaz Montero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Venturino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baudelio Abello kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Szymon Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Lichorobiec got free with Uriel Diaz Montero in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szymon Faron.
