An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Tscherner in the 10th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 13th minute of play. LA DEL MONO were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Red Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Paskal took the corner. In the 18th minute, Humberto Leocadio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA DEL MONO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The LA DEL MONO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
