After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Andrzej Markowski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Mockiewicz came free, but Michael Neels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hever Plasencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes, Qiu Feng Guo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Qiu Feng Guo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Purple Talents fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qiu Feng Guo couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Jurand Mockiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Neels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Herbert Tscherner got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Red Devils's zone, Qiu Feng Guo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Golaszewski came out of the goal and Qiu Feng Guo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Izak Meersman kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Waldemar Rekowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Purple Talents's Michael Neels didn't even have to move. Qiu Feng Guo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Krzysztof Golaszewski made a huge save. Jurand Mockiewicz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Michael Neels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils. Qiu Feng Guo might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krzysztof Golaszewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qiu Feng Guo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiu Feng Guo got free with Krzysztof Golaszewski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's Abraham Valckeneers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krzysztof Golaszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Markowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Neels was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Purple Talents's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Izak Meersman in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Ricky Waegemans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Krzysztof Golaszewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Leszek Olejasz with Dobromir Cwojdak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Purple Talents's Charl Anthonis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leszek Olejasz in the 58 minute of the game. Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Feng Guo in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Bourguignon to maneuver through the defense. Purple Talents's Philippe-Arnaud Bourguignon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leszek Olejasz in the 91 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Andrzej Markowski took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Michael Neels to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Purple Talents fans cheered their team off the field, for while Red Devils had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
