ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Julio Alacuart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rony Zanette in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rony Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Escobar in the 18th minute of the match. Tage Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sarracino Lastras made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Guido Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Julio Alacuart. Sarracino Lastras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Backlund in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Guido Escobar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sarracino Lastras was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Tage Backlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tage Backlund really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Rubén Flores got a free kick in the 41st minute. Sarracino Lastras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Vidal. After recieving a nice pass, Xiboquinha FC's Tiberiu Jienescu tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Xiboquinha FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Moraes made a kick off. Rony Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Alacuart, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Xiboquinha FC were awarded a corner. Tiberiu Jienescu went to the cornerflag to take it. After 54 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Villasante. Xiboquinha FC's Jeremias Preuss was substituted for Tage Backlund. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiberiu Jienescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Xiboquinha FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tiberiu Jienescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Sarracino Lastras did a great save. Rony Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baudilio Andres in the 79th minute of the match. Sarracino Lastras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Preuss's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 86 minutes, Jeremias Preuss made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Sarracino Lastras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO defense, Jeremias Preuss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarracino Lastras. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarracino Lastras should have stopped the shot. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baraxil Casillas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrey Villasante in the 92 minute of the game. The Xiboquinha FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
